I have built my first gaming PC. I built it with not enough power so now I am in the situation of buying a new more powerful PSU. Which one is better;- the Corsair builder series CX 600 or the EVGA 600w bronze psu. And also is 600w enough for my build:-

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Memory: Crucial 8GB DDR3 1333 MT/s CL9 @1.5V Ballistix Sport UDIMM 240 Pin Memory Module
Storage: My 350gb storage from old pc
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB TWIN FROZR Video Card
And an old optical drive from my old PC.

I would prefer EVGA 600W PSU, as CX series is more like bottom line from corsair.
Related to power the R9 280X, it has an elevated MAX TDP of 250W, and needs 600W minimun:

so if thinking in overclocking that FX-6300 could be pushing the limits.
So I rather get a 750W PSU in order of having more room for OC activities and future updates, is the most common PSU for that kind of build.

I don't have enough money to get 750w so I'm limited to maybe 650w. And with the original EVGA 500w I installed before selling it, it worked but it was obvious my PC was overheating so if 500w could run this PC I'm sure 600w will do fine.

Then go for it (650W PSU), I recommend XFX PSU, great prices and made by SEASONIC

How about this:-http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0078OFNNA/ref=mp_s_a_1_15?qid=1422801114&sr=8-15&pi=AC_SX200_QL40&keywords=700w+power+supply&dpPl=1&dpID=51xvfNSzomL&ref=plSrch

Its a cooler master GX-Lite 700w power supply

a good option. As long as it is cheaper than other, better units.
