Anyone know anything about the new B3 line of EVGA power supplies? They're the same price as the B2 but fully modular. But are they the same or better quality as the B2 line?

Nothing out on that unit yet in terms of analysis or reviews, speculated to be a Golden Green refresh with modular cables and better caps (Confirmed to have jap caps on EVGA site) or perhaps a new Leadex Bronze platform, nobody knows i'm afraid.

No worries, the B2 units are still fantastic, nothing to worry about!

I am looking for another PSU for a second rig (GPU mining) and I checked the PSU Tier List over at linustechtips and the B3 is on tier 3 while the B2 is on Tier 2. Anyone know why?

*Edit: I just heard they moved to a sleeve bearing design on the B3 series. 🙁

Don't reference the tier list, quite inaccurate and oversimplifies PSUs.
Look at their individual designs, platforms, components setups and OEMs as well as test results.
