EVGA 970ssc and 780sc in SLI?

I was just wondering if putting an EVGA 970 ssc in a sli bridge with an EVGA 780 sc is possible? The 780 is just lying here, it's got a short circuit so kinda wanna see if I can fix it. Any tips?

SLI requires the gpus to be the same model with the same vram.

I would not use a card that shorts out. toss it.

You can try baking the card to reflow the solder.
Linus Tech Tips has a video where they tried, unsuccessfully, to reflow a card in the oven.
