Today I was gaming away on my new computer for about 1 hour and then my computer shut off out of nowhere. I tried restarting the computer and that did not work, the PSU made a very quiet clicking noise though.

Specs:
MSI Z590-A Pro
980 Ti SC+ OC+
i7-11700k 4.9Ghz
Corsair RM750x

I looked into putting the gpu back into my old computer where it worked for many years but it did not work there either. This leads me to believe my 980 Ti fried somehow. I don't know enough to inspect and see what damage may have been dealt, but yeah, big hurt.

Solution
My 980 died 2 years ago. Just before I made this PC, its like it knew.

They not new cards, that EVGA model was released in June 2015

My condolences :)

it did its job, alas they don't last forever.
Every PC I have had so far has had at least 2 GPU in them.

moving hardware around or just changing the system seems to be enough for other parts that have always worked to suddenly stop. Its happened to me.
