Hello everyone,

Quick question and I am sure it is a no brainier, but I am still somewhat new to custom water cooling.

I recently just ran my first custom water cooling loop for my CPU and it came out very nice and no leaks with nice cool temps even with high clocks. I am wanting to make the switch to rigid tubing and want to incorporate my GPU into the loop. The problem is, I have a EVGA Hybrid gtx 980TI AIO.

My question is, is it possible to remove the water block that comes with the Hybrid and replace it with a custom water block for a reference 980 TI? I know the hybrid is just a reference card with the AIO system on it

Any advice/tips/criticism is greatly appreciated

Thank you

Solution
1| Go here and add your GPU's info into the drop down menu
2|

This is the card you're going to see as the chosen card
3| Upon clicking "GO" you'll be greeted with a list of compatible full cover waterblocks.

Turns out it's a reference PCB GTX980Ti card so pretty much any reference edition grade full cover waterblock will fit. Tips,
Just have a second set of rigid tubing in case you loose some length while measuring, bending or even while cutting. Go slowly and plan your routes. It's like before with flexible tubing that you'll need to think things through before attacking it head on. Bill Owen from MNPCTech has a good stock of videos showcasing tube bending so might want to check those out + Measure more than twice, cut once 😉

Solution
don't see why not ? remove the hybrid cooler and replace it with a like hydrocooper type cooler ?? same cards just different cooler options ??

and its a lot easier to find blocks for reference pcb then aftermarket pcb's
