EVGA 980 Ti Hybrid

One issue with overclocking is that the 980 ti hybrid still uses the same vrms on the reference gtx 980 ti, so high overclocks will be difficult. Where as the air cooled Classified edition will overclock way higher.

I do plan on overclocking quite a bit. As for a Classified, I'm not going to buy a powerful card like that and watercool it myself considering that it can't reach its potential on air and runs way hotter.

Way higher? Oh you mean by maybe 20 Mhz or something. By the way I've seen hybrids at 1530 and 1545 Mhz too.

Overclocks above 1500Mhz will come down to individual card quality as all of the cards will not reach 1520-1540 at the bat of an eye. They will do that up to around 1450-1500 though for the most part.
