My buddy has a 980ti that we attempted to install into my pc today. Once installed the pc would not post, upon switching back to my old rx570 it booted normally. We attempted to put the card into his pc and it booted normally as well. He then tested it on another build with an x470 and a 1600af and it worked just fine. We test fitted his msi 2080 duke into my rig and it booted normally as well. So I dont believe I have a dead card, or a dead psu, or dead pci lane. Any suggestions?
