Hi,

I ordered and installed an EVGA Backplate on my 780 Ti Classified, however the card is being RMA'd and I was wondering if it's ok to use the Backplate on the replacement?

I'm asking as the small bits of padding on the reverse of the Backplate show signs of indentation were they have (to my knowledge) been protecting parts of the card. These bits of padding also seem to feel sticky to the touch, from heat I assume?

Is it ok to re-use the Backplate? Or is getting a new one suggested?

The bits of sticky padding are likely pieces of thermal adhesive or thermal tape that help transfer the heat from those components to the backplate. If they are still sticky then you should have no issues installing the backplate onto the replacement card.
