They want to give only as much as needed and nothing else... They could have reduced 2060 super, but no they want to give gimped version that is cheap enough, so they can continue to sell super version at normal price...

I didn't get the impression that this was a new SKU from Nvidia, rather, just EVGA specifically offering a cheaper, "no frills" 2060. Maybe I read it wrong?
