Hi all,

so I feel this is something I should be able to figure out quite easily but amazon is really confusing me. I have a regular ATX case, with an ATX motherboard. I currently have a CX600 PSU and as I'm aware it's crap I want to get an EVGA 650W P2 or G2 model. The CX600 is apparently about 8.6cm high and it fits under my motherboard with some room to spare. However, amazon UK gives these measurements for the G2:

28.6 x 22.6 x 12.2 cm

There's not really room for another 3cm in my case as far as I can tell. But I keep seeing measurements on other websites that say it's only 8.3cm or so in height. So now I'm confused. Can anyone help?

Bonus question: I'm getting a new graphics card also - The 650W should be enough for an i7 4790 (non-k), an overclocked GTX 1070 on a gaming motherboard with some LED lit peripherals, right?

Thanks!

If you're planning on OCing, I'd recommend a 700 or 750 just to be safe and give some headroom.

Since you have a full tower, and an ATX motherboard, don't worry about room in your tower. I have the same PSU (P2 EVGA 650W) and it fits in my full tower with ATX motherboard, with my GTX 1080. It's all pretty much universal at this point. I wouldn't go by the Amazon measurements.
