Try to turn "eco mode" off. Someone who has the same PSU as yours said to me: "Eco mode: when your PC is under load the fan starts to spin once in a while and when it does it's not the quietest. The noise level is noticeable mainly because it goes from absolute silence to something that you can actually hear. Normal mode: it's like the fan is set to a constant speed, super quiet."
I guess EVGA is not as good with their "zero fan spin mode" as is corsair or Seasonic. I had a XFX PSU (inside its a seasonic gold desing) and their ecomode was really quiet, from "zero" to initial spinnig, it was quiet. Not the case with evga.
