Hello all. I've tried finding this answer elsewhere in the forums and off-site, but cannot. About three nights ago while playing Fallout 4, my screen went black, keyboard and mouse were not responsive, but there was still some sound coming from my speakers. I restarted, reloaded, and the game froze/crashed again. Thinking it was the game itself, I checked the game in STEAM. Crashed/Froze a third time. Loaded Elite: Dangerous and the same thing happened when loading the game. It doesn't freeze on the menu, just when the actual save file opens.

it worked for a short time when I closed down Dropbox in the background, but then failed again 1 hour later.

I've run Event Check, memtest, deleted and reinstalled drivers, and now I'm stuck. Suggestions? I've got a bit of experience with diagnosis, so please help me out with detail if possible. Specs below.

Trying to run one now. The HD is new as of 12 months ago, so hopefully that's not it. The check is taking a LONG time for some reason, though.
