i am thinking about buying evga gtx 1060 6gb sc gaming GPU

can someone who have the card tell me if its a good card and if i should buy it and does it get hot if you are gaming for a long time?

It is a good card. Every card gets hot if you game on them for a long time. I don't have a 1060 from EVGA. I do have one from ZOTAC in one of my systems, but the EVGA is just as good. It's all about clock rates, cooling, and noise.

10 series nvidia gpu's run pretty cool. you should expect temps in the 60c range with adequate cooling and a room that isnt hot.
