EVGA GQ vs G2

Trying to decide between the two - GQ seems cheaper and is semi-modular, but modular in all the cables you need to be modular though.

The GQ is manufactured by FSP and the G2 is manufactured by Super Flower. The G2s are widely regarded as being one of the best of the best. The GQ is a tier 2 unit if that helps at all. I'd personally go for the G2.

Both are high quality power supplies, the G2 is the higher tier. What is the rest of your system? If you want modular then get the G2 but otherwise the GQ is a great choice.

i was thinking i didn't need it to be fully modular

does the manufacturing affect that much?
