EVGA GTX 1050 no signal

I just installed a new evga gtx 1050 2gb to my si h81M P33 i5 4460 but the screen is black and doesnt show anything? could it be because I havent installed the drivers or because its a faulty card?

never mind it was because of the drivers... I manage to install them using teamviewer and everything works. Thanks anyways!
