EVGA GTX 1060 6GB Low fps (Overwatch)

I recently purchased a 1060 for my pc and Overwatch will not play very smoothly (>40 fps) on anything higher than Low settings.

CPU: AMD Athlon x4 750k @ 3.4ghz
8GB Ram
600W psu
Resolution: 1360x768 (using tv : /)

I have maximum performance selected in the Nvidia Control Panel and my drivers are up-to-date. Any advice? Thanks everyone

Like many online games, you need a strong CPU, your's is bottlenecking the GPU.

Definite bottleneck. You should be getting 100fps+ with a 1060 on Overwatch

Cap the framerate at 30 and the stutter will likely be reduced. You can also try overclocking if your motherboard allows it, but ultimately, fm2 CPUs were never decent for gaming, you'll need to make a jump to a better platform.

+Bryan_52 Both mlga91 and Multipack are correct; your CPU is a clear and serious bottleneck. On my i7-5820k + GTX 1060 (6GB vram) I play Overwatch @ 1920 x 1200 / epic settings / MSAA 8x @ 99 FPS minimum. You have two options:

(1) overclock your current CPU

or

(2) upgrade to an Intel platform.
