Please help me with the connection needed for this graphics card.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB ACX 3.0 Video Card

I just wanted sure I am 100% ready before my part gets here tomorrow. It will connect to a:

Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

and

Corsair RMx 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

The gpu has the 8 pin connector on top. It also comes with and adapter which is 2 different 6 pin connectors that go in to an 8 pin. You can see the connector in the link for gpu above.

** I do not think I need this because my psu comes with a 6 and 2 pin connector that snaps together. Can anyone verify this for me?

Solution
You should have a 12v Pci-e power block of 6 pins in total + another two on the same cable end direct from the Psu you have.

If so like the other posters use that connection block to power the GTX 1070 card you have.
And not the two six pin to eight pin power adaptor ETRO ok.
