Can the GTX 1070 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0 (EVGA) be compatible to dual monitor with a HDMI Splitter. Or will it not detect the second and is it going to drop the GPU Performance

Why do you need a HDMI splitter? the card supports 4 monitors without using any splitters.

Why not just but a display port to hdmi converter it would "INCREASE" your fps display ports provide smother cleaner graphics by slightly and "wouldn't" lag between monitor's
