Hi all I have a EVGA GTX 1070 that has been working fine up until I turned on my computer today and my card not being detected by the motherboard. The lights are turning on and the fans are doing like flickering every now and then but it is not getting recognized in the bio or device manager.
I have been reading on forums and everything all morning and the closest I have gotten to my own problem was this thread
from 2016 with some of the same problems but I still don't have a solution.
I have tried putting the card into the other PCIe slot on my motherboard and uninstalling then reinstalling the drivers but still nothing.
I have to use the integrated graphics to look at the BIO and my desktop.
Is my card broken?

Hi everyone. I'm new to building a PC and I have run into an issue with my graphics card. I have the new MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X and for some reason the BIOS and Windows won't detect the GPU. In the motherboard explorer tab in the BIOS, the slot is listed as empty. The computer boots just fine...
