[SOLVED] EVGA GTX 1070 Overclock 87C Temperature

I applied a power limit of 110% (90C), overclocked it and my temps are at 82-86C peeking at 87C is that still safe and okay?

you may want to increase the fan speed. generally 82/86c is safe, but closer to the upper limit. your capacitors degrades much faster @ high temp.

I have 2 intake and 2 outtake fans. If it makes any difference I have a cooler master evo 212 with 2 fans. The fan curve has 100% at 78C.

Should I remove the power limit and let it throttle at 83C?

very close to top. I would consider going sub 80. going above 80 will lower expected MTBF of a card. You can stay like that for ~2 years for sure.
