Evga GTX 1070 temperature

I have a EVGA GTX 1070 SC Black Edition, and it idles at around 50-60C, but when I put load on it it only goes up to around 83. Is this small of a temperature range normal? I thought they were supposed to idle at more like 30-40

Seems a little high, I have normal SC Edition EVGA 1070 and it idles at around 40 and barely goes over 70 under load. Do you have adequate air flow in your case?

I have an s340, with normal fans, i'm just wondering about why it idles so hot, and then doesn't actually get that hot
