I recently purchased an EVGA GTX 1080 Superclocked 2 and when i try to run benchmarks my computer almost instantly reboots, and when I play games if I set the resolution to 3840x2160, it's an instant restart as well. If I play in lower resolutions it will work for a while depending on how low, but ultimately has the same result. I suspect it's a PSU issue but would like to be sure before replacing it, any advice would be appreciated.

System specs;
Motherboard: MSI X370 Gaming Pro
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Sc 2
Ram: 16GB DDR4 3200mhz Corair Vengeance
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 750w Cable Management.

Solution
Probably an obvious answer, but I'm assuming you have the power going into the graphics card? It sounds like your PSU is bad. I have a EVGA 750w and it works just fine with my 1080 FE.
