Not a long time ago I build a gaming PC and put a lot of affords so it would be quiet but one thing ruined it for me and it's called COIL WHINE. I was pretty sure that when you pay premium price for a product you get one, it's really hard for me to understand how it happens when you pay premium. I find out what coil whine is not long ago and I can't stand it, it makes my ears ring.
HOW A NEW HIGH END GPU HAS SUCH A POOR ISSUE?!
Well I returned my GTX 1080 back and waited for a replacement ( FOR ABOUT A MONTH ). I got a brand new one from EVGA and installed, maybe I forgot how coil whine sound like or I was to afraid to check by closing everything in the room. Yesterday I did heard the familiar and so annoying sound again and clear this time, I was devastated. I read a lot of forums and some people said that they fix that by getting a new PSU, so today I got a new one and guess what? NOTHING. Same old story with the same annoying instruments, I heard that motherboard can cause a coil whine too but I don't think I would go that far. I kinda lost hope and I don't really know what to do next.
I replaced Antec TC750C with Corsair RM750x
