I am looking into upgrading my GPU and was hoping to get some opinions on the matter. I am not a GPU expert, but I do know some. I am having a little bit of a conundrum because I have found the FTW2 card for a little cheaper than the SC2 and I understand that it is generally seen as a more high end card. I haven't really been much of an overclocker thus far which is probably worth adding.

Anyways I would love to hear any thoughts or advice. Thanks! :)

Here are links to the two cards:

+1 for the FTW2. The FTW models are usually binned a bit higher...
Yeah I also noticed a few other differences as well when comparing specs. The FTW2 has an additional BIOS chip and requires 8+8 pin power opposed to just 8 pin. Also the FTW2 has a 10+2 power phase instead of the 5+1 in the SC2 and has a max power draw of 35 watts higher. Also the card is physically bigger being about 3/4" wider which I don't really think would be an issue.

Again I'm not really an expert with this stuff so if anyone has any additional thoughts I would love to hear them. Thanks.

+1 for the FTW2. The FTW models are usually binned a bit higher because they come with a higher OC out of the box. Many FTW models come with a dual BIOS as well but I'm not 100% if this one does.

Yeah, the FTW2 has a dual Bios.
