EVGA GTX 480 water cooling system

Hi guys I'm new here, I have a EVGA GTX 480 and I want to make a water cooling system for it. It's the first time I'm doing it so I clueless. I need to know what to get and advice concerning the process. Oh and I bought a EK-FC480 GTX water black for my card, I didn't actually know I needed other components. Would anyone please help me thanks.

I have a Z11 plus Zalman pc case.

Hold on a sec you want to water cool a gtx 480? In 2015? I would highly recommend you spend your watercooling money on a new graphics card its totally not worth it to water cool that thing.

OH IDK i'd say a 480 is a great starting place for watercooling.

It has all the things you could want for a first water cooling setup
1 It's older so the cost is down if you damage it. Maybe 80 dollars to replace it should OP get things wet which happens with water cooling I hear 😉
2 It's hot and loud as hell. Water cooling it will bring down the noise and temp by a lot
3 When cooled well it can achieve great overclocks nearing gtx 580 performance
4 No stupid turbo boost or power limits when the right bios is installed to the gpu

Well i mean if you want to shell out the cash to buy a water block just for practice then by all means i just think your money is best spent elsewhere like on a modern gpu.

@Dunlop0078 I just bought this card I upgraded it from the GTX 280 and I've already got the water block as mentioned earlier. I just need to know what items I need and how to go about it with my current system. My CPU already has a cooler ( not a water cooler). So it's just my GPU.

@spentshells correct those are all the reasons why I'm looking for watercooling for my GTX 480.

I bought the GTX 480 because I can't afford the newer ones never mind water cooling for the new cards.

Are you planning a ingle loop for gpu and cpu or just cooling the gpu?

Do you have any other parts aside from the water block?
Are you trying to keep the entire loop inside the case? That can be a lot more costly?
How much are you willing to spend?
What motherboard do you have?
What is the rest of your setup?

Need a radiator, reservoir, pump, tubing, fittings, ect. What is your budget??

I just want to cool the gpu.

Nope, I've knly got the water block.
I'm not sure which ever cheaper, loop inside or outside I'm not well informed about this.
I have a Asus P8Z77 V pro motherboard.
Okay so my setup is:

I7 3770K cpu
16 GB ram
XFX 650 watt psu
500 GB HDD

I don't want to spend too much on this just the necessary stuff so maybe not more than $100 if thats possible?

uh 100 dollars? Can't help you there. This is a situation where you go to the hardware store for hose and a makeshift resevoir and plumbing fittings and pet supply store or a garage sale for a water pump. Very makeshift but totally effective.

So how much would it cost, I guess I could save money if know how much the cost would be for reliable pump and reservoir etc.
