Hey guys,
My 580's fan is forcing itself to 100% fan speed no matter what. Upon boot, it is screaming like a jet engine and never slows down, no matter what the temps are. Any monitoring software I use tells me that it is at a normal %, but that the RPM is at 5500 RPM. Temperatures are definitely not a problem.
I have two 120 Hz monitors hooked up to it.
There are times (maybe 1% of the time) where it seems to quiet down to lower speeds and then I can actually control it, but these seem to be completely random.
What should I do?
Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV Extreme
CPU: Intel i7 Core 2600K
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 580 SC
PSU: Corsair 750W PSU
