EVGA GTX 650 Ti or Power Color 7850

First of all, I know that the 7850 is clearly a more powerful card.. But Im reconsidering the 650 Ti because of the brand, eVGA is the best IMO, whereas I've read some bad reviews about Power Color cards.

I just wanna ask, if you guys were to choose, would you go for the 650 Ti (considering it's from eVGA) or would you still go for the 7850 even though it's from a lesser known/credible(?) manufacturer?

P.S.
I am from the Philippines, so please don't recommend me to get something from newegg or tigerdirect, asides from the fact that they don't ship here in our country, the shipping cost would almost double the price if ever I buy online.

Here in our country, the GTX 650 Ti costs about 170$ while the 7850 costs around 200$

both cards are efficient and wont get hot, so brand wise wouldn't hurt. power color, although not the most popular brand, its a brand that's working its way up(being one of the few brands to have a 7990 model of their own)

7850. Easy choice.

They're not in the same category at all, so worst case is you can't overclock the 7850 and it's still faster than a heavily overclocked 650ti.

Thanks guys, is it okay if i just get the Standard (non Factory OC) version of the 7850?

I really want to get the Sapphire 7850 which is factory OC'ed but it cost about 50$ more

dont buy the factory oc versions(especially in a different country). AMD cards in general are very underclocked, and its easy for a user to overclock it slightly

I've read some very good reviews about the Super Super Clocked Version of the 650 Ti.

Just look at the benchmarks and decide for yourself, they are both good choices.

Remember, you can overclock the powercolor 7850, then it will destroy the gtx 650 ti ssc

I'd still doubt it. the 650ti in general can only stay in the territory of around a gtx 560 in performance. the 7850 has the performance of a 570 at stock. extra vram doesnt increase performance except in games that will utilize it, which is only a handful. the reason why the 7850 is such of grewat value for budget gamers at the moment is that there is more or less an extreme performance gap between what was the 7770 and the 7850(the gap used to be 100$ in difference, now its 50$, but the cards itself hasnt changed, so there is still that gap in existence)

7850 2gb easy, as they are two different tiers of cards, but if you really want an nvidia card, then get a 660ti, but you will pay a lot more for it.

I really wanted to get the MSI 660 Twin Frozr III, however, it is too much for my budget. I am already waaay beyond my original budget. Looks like 7850 it is

My choices are either Power Color 7850, Sapphire 7850, or eVGA GTX 650 Ti SSC. Im also considering getting the 7870 before, but it's price is already close to the GTX 660.

they are both around 245$

The GTX 660 does look nice but it's only 192 bit while the sapphire 7870 Ghz Edition is 256 bit
