I was wanting a second opinion on an issue I have been having with the graphics card. The problem started while I was playing World of Warcraft. I would play for about 5 minutes and then the screen would go to these green pixelated boxes and the driver would crash and then recover. I figured maybe it was just conflicting drivers so I redid my windows 7 installation. Now anytime a nvidia driver is installed windows attempts to boot and I see the same green pixels. Only after doing a restore to a point where the nvidia driver isn't installed can I get windows to successfully boot. It seems to me like its a faulty gpu but I'm not tech savy enough to confirm that.

System Specs are as follows
Video Card:EVGA NVIDIA SUPERCLOCK GEFORCE GTX 660 TI 2GB 16X PCIE
Sound Card: ASUS XONAR DG 5.1 CHANNELS PCI XONAR DG SOUND CARD
Motherboard: ASUS P9X79 LE INTELL X 79 QUAD 3 WAY SLI SATA 3 USB 3.0 LGA 2011

when my old gpu gave in, it did sorta same thing. when booting there would be a mass amount of different colored pixels (in a pattern) and when it would get into windows it would just freeze.

safemode worked fine (so i played around with drivers)

whenever i would uninstall drivers it would be able to boot all the way into windows normally and i would be able to use it.. but no drivers.

bought a new card, everything was fine.
