EVGA GTX 670 FTW Backplate?

What is a backplate for and should i get one? Also does anyone have or use the Arctic Hybrid VGA cooler?

The Backplate keeps the PCB from warping overtime or bending and just makes the card look better.. and 2-3C cooler in some cases.

As for the Artic cooler eh.. i use the cooler my card comes with. If your GPU gets hot enough to where you need to change the cooler on it.. you might as well water cool
