EVGA GTX 760 overclocking

I have successfully overclocked my 760 to 1306 mhz. I have it with the extra voltage up to +12. Im using precision x does that program have to open for it to run at 1306 mhz? and if the program is open does it run at 1306mhz constantly?

it will adjust clock speed based on the load. and once you apply the settings you can close the program.

Ok, and the program doesnt open on startup so i do open it, the profile is still saved, so do i even need to open it at all once i boot up?

I don't think so there might be a check box that says apply oc on start-up so if there isn't that than it should automatically be applied.
