EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX Cooled overheating randomly

Hi guys, my 760 has randomly started to overheat and causes my fps in any games to drop from around 60-90 to 3-6fps. I adjusted the fan speed to 80% which causes the temperature to drop from 70C to 63C. This didnt change much and my fps sits at 3-6 when its overheating and it is extremely annoying. This only started happening yesterday and I have had the card for almost 2 months.

Pl ensure to remove the heat inside the case by using case fans where required hence ensuring the good air flow. Good air flow will help in reducing the heat and keep the GPU temps down.

I currently have my 2 case fans running (1 exhaust) like I have always done and there hasnt been a problem.

Are all your fans clean? They get gunked up with dust over time, even in a fairly clean environment. This could be a cause of overheating.

Can't remember off the top of my head, but will check when I get home (had to run out for some milk). I was looking into purchasing some new fans, so now atleast I now have an excuse.

Pick up a can of compressed air, you can't just run that stuff through the dishwasher... Not that I had a girlfriend that tried that...

Just got home, still at 64C (only had chrome open) and im checking the fans now.

Just finished, currently at 32C will run Eurotruck 2 for around 30 mins and see how we go.

Well it worked well for around 10 minutes but then rose to 60C and is sitting there. Any other suggestions?

60c under load or at idle?

It rose to 60c while under load, but after having it closed for around another 10 minutes and raising the fan speed by 20% it is still sitting at 60c.

What about air flow inside the case? How many fans are you using and in which directions pl?

I have 2 fans running currently, 1 towards the GPU and 1 exhaust on top of the case.
