Does anyone else here have this card? I just installed mine yesterday and it at least 3x louder than the 650 TI it replaced, and under any sort of load there is some noticeable (as in you can hear it 15 feet away) coil whine... is this just part of the design of the card or did I get hosed with my purchase?

blowers are notoriously noisy mate. as for coil wine you would normally only hear it under load if the card has it. personally i have been lucky with my cards but if its an issue and you dont wish to RMA it you have a couple of options.
change the cooler for a 3rd party 1 and while you have the card open use some hot glue to stop the coils vibrating. just a little on the base of the coil should be enough.

Blower style cards are always going to be louder. Exchange it for a dual fan model.

I knew it was likely to be a bit louder, but the whine is killing me.

Anyone have any experience with newegg will the swap it out for a card that is the same price or will I have to return/reorder?
