I'm looking for used graphics cards. I'd like to know which is a better deal. And I'm choosing between:

1) EVGA GTX 770 (4GB) for $120.00

and

2) EVGA GTX 960 (4GB) for $150.00

The Better Deal is the GTX 1050 TI for $160.

I do not want to divert the subject, but I do not recommend looking for comparisons using the Userbenchmark, even a page based on baselines by users. The page is based on synthetic benchmarks and they do not count very well the overall performance of the games, even in the same section that they have about games they say that the results are not 100% accurate. Even so it is good page to verify that some component is not losing performance. For example here I verify: R7 260X winning at a gtx 480 http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-480-vs-AMD-R7-260X/3157vs3151

A ryzen 3 1200 having more performance in games than a 5 1400 http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-5-1400-vs-AMD-Ryzen-3-1200/3922vs3931

Returning to the subject, I agree, if it is between used cards a gtx 960 is a better option because it is a more current architecture and consumes less. The drawback is that it generally has a bit less performance than a 1050 Ti and a 770 https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2637/geforce-gtx-960 (Techpowerup is a more than reliable source) and maybe the 960 can be more expensive than a used 770, being that even in some new games the 770 continues to perform better, but I guess everything will depend on the price. The 1050 Ti would be out of place because its current price is exaggerated for what it yields, it has a barely better performance than my old 680 phantom so a 1050 Ti right now it would not be worth it ...

If you have the right power source, go to the gtx 770. It's a kleper, older than maxwell, but it still performs better overall than a 960 even in most new games. But as I said it consumes about twice as much as a gtx 960 ...
