Hey guys i live in Canada and the difference between these two cards is about 60 bucks or so.

I want to basically know if its worth to pay the extra 60 to get the EVGA card. Is the overclocking and performance better?

Solution
No for the most part evga really only has problems with gigabyte motherboards I just recently installed a evga video card into my friends asus rog motherboard no problems. Plus the evga cooler makes all other gtx 770 coolers bow down to its sexiness

The Evga will have better cooling, so in theory will overclock better but you might get a golden chip on a Asus that will beat the Evga even with heat. If the Asus is the first Direct CU then the Evga would be better but with $60 you could buy a aftermarket cooler or just make do with the standard lesser cooler.

Well I would say it all depends on what games and what resolution you play at. Really if you are gaming on a single monitor at say 1080p you could save quite abit and get a GTX 770 instead.

Running at 1080p even on max settings a GTX 770 would be more than enough power to handle any game out there. A GTX 780 in most cases is just overkill in performance and price. Just food for thought.

Thanks for the posts. Anyone else that can shed some light on these two cards and if its worth paying the extra bucks for the performance the classified brings?

You could go for ether I would get the evga one if you are looking for better airflow, I would almost say get one gtx 770 and then think about getting a higher res monitor and then get a 2nd gtx 770 for sli these cards are amazing in sli the slap the titan in the face and for $200 less I mean I used one gtx 770 for about 2 weeks and got more then what I needed for fps for all of my games. and now that I play at a higher res I have two and I get amazing performance and these cards stay super cool even in sli
