I know this question has been asked multiple times before but from what iv seen I can't seem to find a definite answer.
I'm buying an EVGA GTX 970 but at the moment I have a corsair CX500 which is what nvidia recommends. The 970 is Evga most basic one so it's not the sc or FTW edition. I'll only have the 500w psu for about another two months( probably will be about a month by the time its shipped ect.) when I'll be upgrading to an rm1000. The 970 will pretty much only be used on weekends and won't be overclocked at all. My CPU is an i5 4570 and thats not overclocked either.
I'm just wondering if I'll be able to use the 970 for just under 2 months with quite little usage without any problems. If I left anything out or if I'm in the wrong sub forum just let me know.
Thanks

I don't know if I can bring this back up but out of interest would even the EVGA gtx 970 FTW edition work with the same cx500? Same thing as before, no overlclocking or anything and Ill only be using the cx500 for about another month.
Thanks

Yes that should be fine for a month, obviously change it asap as the CX series are not great quality.
