System specs:
i5-3570k Ivy Bridge @ 4.1 GHz
8Gb G.Skill Sniper Series @ 2133 MHz
Asus P8Z77 V Lk
EVGA GTX 970 FTW+, driver v.359.06, stock factory overclock, ASIC 73.5%
Windows 10 Pro

Running Unigine Valley 1.0 on Extreme HD Preset, I get a FPS of 59.5, Score of 2488, Min FPS 30.4 and Max FPS 113.7. I'm not impressed by these scores...is something wrong with my card?

BIOS is latest. And no offense, but I run Windows 10, so disabling antivirus is N/A here...and I just don't go to sketchy websites or torrent on my gaming PC. That's what smartphones are for :)

Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Vertical Sync > Use the 3D application setting.

That's what I have seen as well. GPU-Z reports that I have a full x16 lane width, and I am reaching the as advertised clocks and boost clocks. I'm leaning towards an RMA...

I guess one thing I should mention, I have a 2560x1080 monitor, but the Extreme HD preset is 1920x1080. I assume thats what my GPU renders and outputs during the Valley benchmark?

Yeah it should be rendering it at whatever resolution you select when you start the test
