Gpu: Evga GTX 970 FTW
PSU: Corsair Hx1000i
Few weeks ago I was watching YouTube and I heard what sounded like spark from my PC and it turned off immediately. I could not figure out where it came from, so I turned the PC back on but the GPU was not turning on. I eventually started turning on for about 10 seconds, while making a small whining noise, then turn off. Sometimes it would turn on and the fans would be going 10x faster than they should be. I unplugged my Optical drive, HDD, and SSD and the same things continued to happen. I am guessing it is the GPU, but I don't want to drop hundreds on a new one and find out it was the PSU just not proving enough power. What can I do to test which one it is?
