Hi everyone, after a RMA my GTX 780 SC ACX, EVGA will send GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0 (without +). So, my questions in this case it's;

What's the diffrence beetwen this GPU and SSC ACX 2.0+? (in detail)
I'm going to overclocking this GPU and i don't know is worth to do that? (cause it's a replacement)
I can't find enough reviews this video card, so i'm not sure how to overclock.

+100 on the core
+400 on the memory
(without upped a voltage)

It should work with that? I know, it's a max for version with "+" (more or less).
Well, maybe i should try for lower clocks?

I'm really sorry for my english vocabulary and grammar. I don't have too much time for write this post more correctly.
I'm not from England or USA (either other english countries) and basically i'm still a kid.

I see now the ssc 2.0 was sold and I found one at a old newegg link but it seems there discontinued. the thing with it was the first ones had a goofed cooler like this

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GTX_970_SC_ACX_Cooler/images/cooler2.jpg

then they re done that to plate like this

http://images.anandtech.com/doci/8568/HSF.jpg

but now that scc 2.0 has been replaced with the ssc 2.0+ with the upgrades parts

so they must be sending you a discontinued card to replace the one you sent in ??? the cards part number would be a lot of help on the one your getting

like -- 04G-P4-2972-KR

I had a GTX 780 SC ACX.
I overclocked this GPU and something went wrong then i sent my GPU to EVGA
EVGA sent GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0 for replacement to previous video card.

It's a : 04G-P4-2975-KR

seems like they treated you fair .. theres nothing but referb's in them 780 cards anyway and you will more them likely get a ''new'' but discontinued card with that 970

I would think that in its self a plus for you

when you get the card register it at evga and all the go to there forums and ask there guys about the overclocking

myself I don't overclock new cards I wait until I'm ready to replace them then oc to get what I can before I order a new card . like you said why risk a brand new card with a bad oc that ruins the new card ??? [opinion] but to each his own I guess

I would think that 970 should do all you want right out of the box ??
