Does anyone know what the required ampage on the 12v rail is for this card?

No need to concern yourself with amperage/voltage with modern cards, you are going into detail you don't need to know about, not even nvidia themselves gives those specs, just generic wattage requirements.

Single card with standard machine 500w PSU is all you need.

Thats what I was thinking, I mean why else would they not include a specification for it.

I was just a little concerned.... because I bought a 770 Classified last year, and the PSU I had at the time didnt have enough amps to power it.

I'm buying a EVGA 500W PSU for this card with 40A(12V) and I was wondering if it was enough
