EVGA NVIDA GeForce GTX 1060 vs 960

I am comparing these two graphic cards right now and I am wondering if it is worth the extra money to go with the 1060 or if the 960 will be enough for me.
My build is for recording console gameplay with an elgato, editing videos, and some light gaming on the PC.

And for anyone wondering, I am looking on best buy because I am getting some of my parts from them so I can do payments and get it sooner, I'm not worried about getting it somewhere else for cheaper, but just wondering which is better. Although if there is a card not on the bestbuy website I am open to looking at other sites as well.

a 1060 will be a good 40-50% faster than a 960. you can see plenty of reviews of the cards by looking here http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3047729/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1000-series-megathread-faq-resources.html

it was 20%+ better than a 970 which is itself a lot faster than a 960. easily worth the extra cash for the 1060.

If you are like me and don't upgrade that often I'd get the 1060. If you are someone who finds himself upgrading constantly then get the 960 since you'll be upgrading again soon anyway.

Go 4 the 1060...smokes the 960 and you'll be 'future proof' for a couple years too.
