That good news because am still waiting for my evga scard from scan but 2 more days the bots will start again with 3090!

It's good to know now that "order placed" doesn't necessarily mean "you'll get a card."

That puts all of the scalpers who "proved" they have a 3080 coming in by way of confirmation email on the hook now since that doesn't mean jack anymore.

All the retailers should share email addresses and shipping addresses for all their orders. I bet we would catch a lot of scalpers that way too. They could avoid privacy concerns with an NDA or some similar contract.

Good on Evga, their forums are really active and it seems they are listening to their user base. I had one in my cart and even when through Paypal before it failed on return to the site. Bummer.

A good way to catch Scalpers is to see if the same creditcard is being used on multiple orders. Same creditcard, cancel it.

Scalpers and their clients are going to have fun now that they cannot trust confirmed orders to be final until the cards have actually shipped.
