evga sc gtx 970 idle temps at 50-55 c

So i just got this card and notice the idle temps in the 50s , also notice the fans are not spinning but they only kick in when im playing, under heavy load like guild wars 2 WvW pvp i can hear them and also a bit of coil whine but the temps never go past 70c. Should i worried about the idle temps?

Nope because the fans are usually off at idle, thats why its reading that high.

They are within acceptable idle temp range. Fans dont kick in unless it hits 60c and above. But in my opinion, that's high. The following can be factors for high idle temp.

- Bad case airflow
- Multiple large monitors / High refresh rate.

I dont own a 970 yet. But im currently looking for one. And those are some inputs i always come across.
