Rules:

1. Some deviation from the main topic is fine. But please do not go off talking about cards from other vendors or any other similar topics unless absolutely necessary.

2. Questions about your EVGA card must meet the requirement of being an SSC, FTW, Classified or higher end model. Please use/create another thread for standard SC and non-SC models.

Note: You do not need to have an EVGA card to post here. Just make sure your comment stays on topic

If there are any guides, tricks, or tips that you want me to add to the main page of this club, please feel free to PM me or another mod about it and we will add it to this thread as soon as we can!

Did you play in 4k? If yes, how many fps you got?

I have one 1070 FTW, thinking about other...

Honestly, this is more of an experiment...

Nearly every other forum out on the web has some sort of hardware based clubs. I thought it would be cool if we could bring clubs into tom's hardware aswell.

If this experiment works (meaning that there is enough interest), I'll unsticky this and then start publishing other clubs for other hardware.

i play 1440p 100hz and can get near 100fps or over 100fps most of the time

If you look at my rules, the hybrid models are allowed here. And the 900 series are allowed here aswell. :)

It's a good card for sure. I was originally going to buy that instead of a gigabyte model but I couldn't find them in stock anywhere.

I was disappointed this series with the evga cards though i must say. They were more expensive, the rgb in my opinion is VERY lacking and they dont cool as good as some others out there. I love my evga products but i bit the bullet and chose the strix because the rgb is on the sides and the backplates and they run about 10c cooler than the evga models were showing in testing. I do still have my 780ti classifieds tho.....man those things are still sweet cards for 1080p

It's been a long time without any activity here... but I saw the sticky and fancied saying something.
I have a GTX660 FTW and a GTX660 SSC (Both EVGA) in SLI.
They still can push GTA nearly on max settings at 1080p 60fps, but not sure how long until the VRAM becomes a serious limitation with new games.
How much VRAM will games end up using? It seems to just increase because the developers just fancied adding lots of textures.
Still, I love the cards and still in use (they are all I've got xD )!

My not so secret love affair with EVGA started about a decade ago with the EVGA 7900 GT KO.As time goes on so too do upgrades need to happen. Fast forward 5 years and I finally cemented the deal with the EVGA 570 Classified with a 2500K s its co-pilot. A perfect marriage for my needs. Fast forward another 5 years and I met my current card which is an EVGA 970 FTW which I absolutely adore. I will hopefully move on to the EVGA 1070 FTW next. As an added bonus these cards also seem to overclock pretty good. They've already been pushed fairly hard and yet the consumer still has some headroom.

Now all I need is to buy a new monitor. My TV died a couple of weeks ago:pfff: and extra money is VERY hard to come by. Priorities......

Make sure you REGISTER your card with EVGA as soon as you verify it's in working order. Uploading a copy of your invoice is also recommended. Should a problem arise within 3 years(usually) you'll be covered.
At 12-16C I hope it's not too hot.

Well it depends, but if I am around I will happily try and throw a few suggestions at you :)
But what sort of problems are you worried about? I think the EVGA FTW cards are super reliable and overclock well to boot.
