both are still kind of worrisome for me (focus fx and fm, others are yet to be reviewed)Watever Wattage you have 2 choices in the EVGA G3 which is great and the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold which is also great
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/evga-supernova-1000-g3-psu,4941-6.htmlWe didn't get any OCP results because our unit died during the OPP test, meaning either that this particular sample had a problem or OPP is set very high.
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/evga-supernova-850-g3-psu,4930-6.htmlOTP is set very high in our opinion, since we had to apply a huge thermal load on the secondary side to trigger it. The bulk cap's external casing nearly melted during our OTP evaluation.
oh, i'm not perfect either, so feel free to stick aroundI'll uhh, leave this up to Luke.
No one's perfect, but I'm just a guy with too much time. (read: procrastination)oh, i'm not perfect either, so feel free to stick around
i'm going to stick around... i think with this level of budget something along the lines of a CWT GPU (whisper, dq-m revolution df) or something along those lines would be possibleTier B+ for cheap.
it's good that you spread your info, but the problem is that JG doesn't even do much protection testing, and aris only went up to 110%, while PCeva here did 120%I have no idea which Chinese site you are referencing but here you go on links..
Hunh, I need to read up on some stuff. Definitely could learn some more. The BitFenix and Enermax PSUs seem more logical. Cheaper/similar for higher tiers.i'm going to stick around... i think with this level of budget something along the lines of a CWT GPU (whisper, dq-m revolution df) or something along those lines would be possible

and since evga has since shown nothing different with g3, and seasonic has released it's successor in the gx, gm and px, i stopped recommending them
do i think you should throw them in a bin if you have them already? no, keep it and buy a new one whenever the time comes
do i think you should still buy them at this point? no, there's in my opinion just better around
jon hasn't reviewed units for years now, and even his successor recently stopped as wellWell I have given my views and no matter what JonnyGuru is highly rated and respected in the PSU world and I would take his thoughts on PSU's very seriously...I'll leave it at that and let the OP make his own decision as it is his money on the line and certainly not mine...
