hey there, Is the EVGA W1 Series 600W 80+ better then the Cooler Master B600 ver.2 thats currently powering my system.
I want to upgrade my cpu to a Ryzen 5 3gen or ryzen 7, and my gpu to a gtx 1660 super.

My specs are,

Cooler Master B600 ver.2
16GB DDR4
AMD ryzen 1500X quad-core proecessor.
GTX 1060 3gb
asrock b350m pro4

While it is recommended you upgrade your current PSU, it is NOT recommended to use an EVGA White PSU with a dedicated GPU system (or anything other than basic office use IMO.)

PSU tier lists are highly controversial and difficult to adequately categorize PSUs, I would still recommend using them if you don't know much about PSUs.

Stick to Tier A, B, and possibly C if you are on a tight budget.

A quick/rough way to select a psu is to look at the warranty.
3yr...iffy
5yr...maybe
7yr+...good

Once you have selected a few then it's off to read the reviews.
