[SOLVED] EVGA W3?

Hey guys, i've seen a new power supply from EVGA recently, the W3. It's tempting to me cause it's cheap and has all black cables, but how good is it? how does it scale up compared to other PSUs?

Cannot say since i see no reviews.

Only 80+ white, very cheap, and in the same series as the medeocre W1, its probably meh at best.

this is what I assumed as well, but the 3 year warranty is as long as an EVGA BR, which is a decent PSU, and longer than the W1, which makes me question exactly where it's placed in comparison to other things

W1 has a 3-year warranty as well.

IIRC the non 80+ N1 has a 2 year warranty.

It looks like based on Andyson group regulated platform when W1 was HEC, still garbage.

450w Model label shows full 450w coming from the 12v rail. wouldn't that be a clear sign it isn't group regulated?

EVGA's site says 432W.

In any case, this thread is from more than a year ago and presumably, the OP is still not waiting around to get PSU advice.
