I have a i3-7300t and a EVGA Z170 FTW motherboard and i want to know if there is any modded bios for the motherboard that would allow me to overclock a non K cpu

You can overclock non K cpu using two methods.
1. BCLK: very complicated and headache inducing
2. Modded BIOS if your motherboard prevents overclocking: Easy way to brick it

I recommend you wait till Intel 9th gen launches, then buy a used 7600K/7700K or 6th gen for half the price. Or any other 4 core CPU.
