EVGA Z99 and SATAe question.

I am in the market for building a new computer and I have an EVGA board right now (P55 SLI) and LOVE the support And the board, its been so reliable with no issues ever and kind of want to stick with the brand. So my question is, is SATAe going to bloom or anything anytime soon? Am I missing out by not having that on my motherboard? Should I wait to see if EVGA implements SATAe later on?

If the case has an eSATA port, you can use that one.

SATAe (SATA Express) is completely different from eSATA. I'm just wondering if the technology is going to take off and if it's worth getting a motherboard with it or just stick with basic SATA for right now. Hence the dilemma of buying the Z99 from evga or the Asia Z99 board....
