Thanks for replyingWhat exactly happens? Mixing RAM is not guaranteed to work, only RAM bought in a matched kit is guaranteed to work together.
Both memories work on the motherboard when installed one at a time. Thanks for replying
There is no issue when i install only one memory.
But what exactly happens when both are installed and you hit the power button? Both memories work on the motherboard when installed one at a time.
Cpu fan spins for some time and and stops and again it continues. But what exactly happens when both are installed and you hit the power button?
Have you tried 1 stick and moving it between each motherboard slot to test the slots?Cpu fan spins for some time and and stops and again it continues.
Then it is just you are not lucky mixing RAM. RAM is sold in matched kits for a reason.Yes. Both slots are working .
Thanks for the help👍. I will replace the memory with the same brand. Then it is just you are not lucky mixing RAM. RAM is sold in matched kits for a reason.
That’s not guaranteed to work. Even mixing the same make and model bought separately is not guaranteed to work. Only RAM bought as a matched kit is guaranteed to work together.
