I recently bought a Samsung EVO 970 and installed it on my machine, however, I'm having an issue where it would only connect to one 3.0 PCIe lane instead of 4. Has anyone had the same issue how can I fix this?

Thank you!

I'm not going to be much help. You have installed the EVO in the correct motherboard location (M2_1). When all is well, Samsung Magician should be reporting under "Interface" PCIe Gen. 3 X 4, not 3 x 1 as yours is. Your have the latest BIOS installed on your motherboard. However, your motherboard model has various issues. You have probably done the following, but just in case you haven't:

- remove the SSD and reinstall on motherboard
- clear your motherboard BIOS settings and set to default
- reboot into Windows and check Samsung Magician to see if it reads PCIe Gen. 3 x 4

If nothing works, I would RMA motherboard rather than SSD due to the motherboard model's history of issues.
